BBC Interactive TV
I led a six month collaborative scenario planning project designed to shape long term strategies for BBC Interactive TV. The project involved 35 internal and external participants including commissioners, media strategists, a nanotechnolgist, designers, audience research, academics and research scientists.
The television industry in Britain is in the mist of fundamental and unpredictable change.
The BBC has an important role to play however it needs to understand the potential impact of many forces shaping the way Britain adopts and uses digital technologies - everything from the impact of the global economy to regional attitudes.
The scenarios project enabled pan BBC conversations about the future. The resulting scenarios provide a tool for understanding, debating and better decision making.
